This is just..breathtaking. I don't usually browse deviantart but when I saw this I just...stopped. I'm so glad as well to find another 300D user! How do you find it? I'm amazed at the clarity of the picture considering the time of day. I think you're selling your photograph short by classing it as "misc". When people browse the site they often browse by category. I think perhaps it would be better suited in emotive or conceptual galleries, misc doesn't seem to portray the power that it has.

I'm also shocked that you managed to get iso 100 on this, I suppose because the shutter is so low..but thats what is mind blowing, how you managed to get that sharp focus with such a long shutter (relatively). Are you using the kit lens or another lens?
:iconshatteredlens:
Wow, that's awsome! The way the mist is hovering is kind of creepy. :+fav: for sure!

Oh wow amazing photo :wow: It is not really manipulated ?
:iconsm00keh:
first of all,thx for the wonderfull reply,it's so encouraging!
i didn't find any category suiting for this photo, but conceptual category would be fine to ( now i realize :D )
i used the kitlens ,i first choice was the only other lens i have (still working on that :) ) the canon 70-200mm L f4 lens, but the kitlens is letting more light trough so i picked that one.normaly i only do naturephotography, but i'm getting to like other things to,very facinating!

thx again, for the comment and the fav!

i'm assuming you used a tripod yes? I was wondering what the location of the photo was....with all the mist (is it mist? or smoke?)
:iconsm00keh:

yes,i used a tripod.
there was mist (it was a cold and foggy day) and my brother was smoking, also was i, i 'made' some smoke just before my brother and then run trough it,that explains the form of the smoke over the head, like the smoke was ripped open.
