well,i took this photo when i was driving trough my village some weeks ago.i wanted to know how this little river was named, but i couldn't find an anwser to my question,i searched for a nameplate at the river..nothing there. Then i asked some people who lived there hole live near the river so i thought they would now the name..but nobody could tell me.pretty weird
i do know it's about 11 km long and at the end it comes into a bigger river.
i used a darkroom effect because i always wanted to try that , i like the way it turned out.
i used 'corel photosuit 11 - photopaint ' for the colors, magnificant program btw, really nice to work with and feels very professional.
gear: canon 300 digital rebel,a tripod and a frozen finger.
this is the best picture i have seen in this year. well done!! what a fu**** great composition! it is really great. wow.
and atmosphere is so mysterious and color tone.
this is true photography. well done! i hope you get feature!

nice--the reflection on the water is really fantastic. looks like you really took advantage of the tripod for this one. i also like the areas of sunlight vs shade. i would be very interested to see the original so i could see exactly how powerful this 'corel' is... keep it up.
ps: what is that on the tree (the light spot)? a reflection?? minor detail, but it piqued my curiosity.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
